You know those sketches that are just dumb and simple goofs but carry the perfect emotion and it kills you to have to draw over them in more detail and lose that energy? I've given up on making those detailed, panels two and five just get to be like that now.

Yes! I know that feel! Even when you are drawing those simple sketches, you feel like you catched the exact emotion you wanted to portrait. I feel sometimes when I re-draw'em I notice that the "essence" of the original sketch is lost.

Red is lost between birds hehe!
